Objectives
Financial Support
The primary objective of Woodmore Athletic Boosters is to provide financial assistance to sports programs within a school or community. This support can include funding for equipment, uniforms, facility upgrades, travel expenses for competitions, and other essential needs that might not be covered by the school’s budget. By fundraising and soliciting donations, WABC ensures that athletes have access to the resources necessary for success.
Community Engagement
We aim to foster a sense of community and school spirit around athletic events. Events such as pep rallies, tailgates, and fundraising activities bring together athletes, families, alumni, and supporters. By creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, WABC strengthens connections within the community and encourages active participation in supporting Woodmore athletic teams.
Athlete Development
Another key objective of Woodmore Athletic Boosters is to promote the holistic development of student-athletes. This involves providing educational opportunities, mentorship programs, and recognition for academic and athletic achievements. Organized workshops, scholarship programs, or awards ceremonies celebrate the accomplishments of student-athletes and encourage their personal growth both on and off the field. By nurturing the talents and character of young athletes, WABC contributes to their long-term success and well-being.
